After nursing a 1 run lead Chad Green gives up a 2 Run absolute moonshot on a nothing slider to Hanley Ramirez( it may still be falling). People were feeling down but 27 outs!! The bottom of the 8th was magical and the stadium was so loud and rowdy it felt like the playoffs. Stadium shook and it was like nothing i ever felt before in a game in may. People have been wanting to bury Brett Gardner for weeks now and throwing dirt on his grave. Gardy proved today how Important he is to this team and how indispensable he is as a player and a leader. Gardy sets the tone.3-5 3runs scored, 2 doubles and a huge 2 run triple off of all star closer Craig Kimbrel. Judge then Followed with a absolute lazer to monument park for a 2 Run shot. The Red Sox appeared shell shocked and overwhelmed by the atmosphere. Yankees, winners of 8 straight games and winning 17 of 18 games are now in sole possession of first place after completely erasing a Red Sox 7 1/2 game lead in just 19 calendar days.Sheesh, this teams special. I love this team yall. Lets go Yankees
